We reached late night, loved the drive to the resort. Little remote area, but was fun reaching. 1. Cottages were wonderful 2. Rooms were also good and spacious. 3. Housekeeping needs to be pulled up, 4. Staff was good and courteous. 5. Little maintenance of lawn is required. We loved the stay. By the time others reach now will have better experience as we pointed these little things to be taken care off.

I had one of the worst experiences staying at this property. The service here was extremely disappointing. We booked two rooms for four nights, and unfortunately not a single night of the stay was comfortable. Basic amenities that were supposed to be provided in the room were either missing or poorly maintained. For instance, the kettle in my room had insects in it. I had to repeatedly ask for basic items like a bucket and a dental kit, even though these were supposed to be available as standard amenities. The most frustrating part of the stay was the food, especially dinner. It was almost never available on time — in fact, dinner would arrive very late every day, never before 10:30 PM. We later realised that there is no chef at the property and the food is sourced from other hotels. Despite having a menu, nearly 80% of the items listed were unavailable. What made this worse was that the prices were extremely high, even though the food was being ordered from outside and arriving very late. Each day the food seemed to come from a different hotel, which made the entire experience very inconsistent. While the staff present at the property tried their best to help, it was clear that they lacked the resources and support to run the place properly. There seemed to be very little accountability or proper management in place. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay and not an experience I would recommend.

The cottage was really beautiful and well-maintained. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, making the stay very relaxing. The surroundings were peaceful and added to the overall charm of the place. The hospitality was excellent — the hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Worst Stay Experience Ever - (Would have given 0 if that was an option) I stayed here in February 2026 during weekdays for an official visit to Ramnagar. Honestly, if there were an option to give 0 stars, I would have chosen that. I selected this property expecting a calm and peaceful stay. While the location is indeed quiet, the management, food service, billing system, and overall professionalism were extremely disappointing. 1. False Assurances Before Arrival * My stay was informed three weeks in advance via email and phone. They confirmed that everything would be arranged, including food availability and proper invoices for official billing. However, upon arrival, most of these assurances turned out to be untrue. 2. Food Mismanagement & Endless Delays * On arrival day, we were informed the chef was on leave (no prior intimation). * Nearest restaurant is around 4 km away, and the property does not assist with transport. * Every single meal was delayed by 1.5 to 2+ hours despite repeated reminders. * Menu items were mostly “not available.” * Repeated false promises: “10 minutes” meant over an hour. * On some days, food appeared to be sourced from outside and sold at inflated prices. * Ordered mutton curry for ₹580 - it was one of the worst dishes I’ve ever been served. Completely unacceptable in quality. * Even during the weekend when more guests checked in and the chef “returned,” the service delay continued. One dinner ordered at 6:30 PM was served only at 10:00 PM. 3. Billing & GST Issues * This was an official trip, and we clearly informed them in advance that GST invoices were required. * Bills were delayed until midnight after continuous follow-up from 6:30 PM onwards. * At the last moment, they attempted to deny GST invoice for the stay. * We had to argue repeatedly to get proper documentation. * Because of this chaos, we could not sleep properly before our early morning departure. * This level of unprofessional behaviour is unacceptable, especially for official travellers. 4. Staff & Management Concerns Staff frequently unavailable. * Plates left uncleared even late at night. * No emergency support. * Property reportedly undergoing frequent lease/management changes (as informed by staff). * Other guests during our stay were also facing similar food and service complaints. 5. Rooms * Rooms were average - not too bad, not great. But I genuinely doubt whether proper cleaning was done before our arrival. I have stayed in numerous hotels across India (including 2 other properties in Ram Nagar area) for official purposes and have never faced such disorganisation and negligence. This review is written so that future travellers, especially those travelling for official work, do not face similar stress and inconvenience. Peaceful location alone is not enough. Basic service reliability and honesty are non-negotiable. Would never stay here again. Not recommended.

I really loved the location. It’s in a peaceful village setting, away from traffic and chaos, which made the stay very relaxing. The food was delicious, and the chef was excellent. The staff was also very warm, helpful, and cooperative, which made the overall experience even more pleasant.
