By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vedding under the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

To use Vedding, you must:

•        Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.

•        Not be barred from using our services under applicable law.

By using our Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3.1 Registration

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as needed. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Platform to discover, research, and connect with wedding vendors for personal wedding planning purposes. Vendors may use the Platform to list and promote their services to prospective clients.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

•        Post false, misleading, or defamatory content, including fake reviews or ratings.

•        Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.

•        Scrape, crawl, or data mine the Platform without prior written consent from Vedding.

•        Transmit spam, unsolicited communications, or advertisements outside designated channels.

•        Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems.

•        Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

•        Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.

•        Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.

•        Collect or harvest personal data of other users without their consent.

5.1 Vendor Responsibility

Vendors who list their services on Vedding are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of their listings, including pricing, availability, service descriptions, photos, and contact information. Vedding does not verify all vendor claims and does not endorse any specific vendor.

5.2 User-Generated Content

By submitting content to the Platform (including reviews, photos, and messages), you grant Vedding a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform. You represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this licence.

5.3 Reviews and Ratings

Reviews and ratings on our Platform must be honest, first-hand accounts based on genuine interactions with vendors. Vedding reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our community guidelines, including fake, offensive, or irrelevant content.

Vendors marked as "Verified" on the Platform have undergone our internal verification process. However, this verification does not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or endorsement by Vedding of the vendor's quality, reliability, or suitability for your specific needs. Verification status may be revoked at any time.

Couples are encouraged to independently verify vendor credentials, licences, references, and contracts before making any payments or commitments.

Vedding is a marketplace and discovery platform. We do not directly facilitate or process bookings or payments between couples and vendors unless explicitly stated for specific features. Any agreement, contract, or payment arrangement is solely between the couple and the vendor.

Vedding is not a party to any contract between a couple and a vendor and shall not be liable for any disputes, non-performance, or losses arising from such arrangements. We strongly recommend:

•        Obtaining a written contract from your vendor before making any payment.

•        Verifying payment terms, cancellation policies, and deliverables in writing.

•        Paying via secure, traceable payment methods.

Vedding offers free planning tools including a Budget Planner, vendor shortlists, and checklists. These tools are provided for informational and organisational purposes only. All estimates, calculations, and suggestions provided by our tools are approximate and should not be relied upon as professional financial or legal advice.

Vedding makes no warranty that the planning tools will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your specific requirements.

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to the Vedding name and logo, website design, text, graphics, images, software, and compilations, is the property of Vedding or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from the Platform without our prior written consent.

The Platform and all content, services, and features are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Vedding does not warrant that:

•        The Platform will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free at all times.

•        Any vendor listing, review, or recommendation is accurate, complete, or reliable.

•        The Platform will meet your specific requirements.

•        Any errors or defects will be corrected.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vedding, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable for any:

•        Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

•        Loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill.

•        Disputes between couples and vendors, including non-performance, fraud, or breach of contract by a vendor.

•        Errors or omissions in vendor listings or user-generated content.

•        Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data.

In no event shall Vedding's total liability to you for any claim exceed the amount you paid to Vedding (if any) in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vedding and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

•        Your access to or use of the Platform.

•        Your violation of these Terms.

•        Your violation of any third-party rights, including privacy or intellectual property rights.

•        Any content you submit to the Platform.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications. Vedding does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of such third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and policies.

Vedding reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website with a revised effective date and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification to your registered address.

Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must discontinue use of the Platform.

These Terms remain in effect until terminated by either party. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Vedding may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimer, indemnification, and limitation of liability) shall survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of those rights.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or agreements published by Vedding on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and Vedding regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior understandings or agreements.
