The best homestay and the warmest hospitality I’ve ever experienced. At Corbett Rajae Homestay, everything felt just like home — from cozy rooms and peaceful surroundings to soulful food, with special meals and desserts lovingly prepared by Pradip Bhaiya that made every meal memorable. The heritage village walk felt beautifully real, allowing us to truly connect with the community and understand their simple way of life. Shiwang’s grounded nature and exceptional zeal to host made the experience deeply meaningful — he is a bundle of stories about birds, animals, forests, and village life, and through him I felt truly connected to the wildlife and nature around us. Life there felt peaceful, simple, and truly alive, and practicing yoga in the forest was a blessing for me. Spending time in the serene surroundings of Kalagarh Tiger Reserve, Rathuwadhab region, has been one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. 🌿

Nestled in the heart of the Kalagarh Tiger Reserve, this place feels like a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle — just lush greenery, quiet mornings, and nature all around.  The first thing that struck me was the warm welcome — a refreshing drink, smiles all around, and genuine hospitality that made me feel instantly at home. The location itself is a dream for nature lovers: bird songs greet you in the morning, a river stream nearby invites slow wanderings, and even hidden waterfalls await for little adventures just outside the homestay.  Rooms were cozy, clean, and comfortable, with balconies that offer peaceful views of the forest. I loved waking up to the fresh mountain air and the calm of the surrounding wilderness — truly a sanctuary for the soul.  But what made the stay unforgettable was the homemade Uttarakhandi food — hearty, delicious, and full of local flavor. The hosts weren’t just hosts; they became friends, sharing stories, guiding me to beautiful bird watching spots, and even organizing a safari adventure in the nearby Sonanadi Zone.  If you’re looking for peace, authenticity, and nature right outside your door, Rajae Homestay is the place to be. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning my next visit!

This homestay offers a very warm and comfortable experience. The host ( Shiwank Negi) is extremely kind and welcoming, and makes everything easy for the guests, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. The home cooked food is fresh and delicious. The sunrise view, nearby waterfall, and peaceful surroundings add to the charm of the place. Connectivity is good, and all basic arrangements are handled well, making the stay completely hassle-free. Overall, it feels calm, homely, and refreshing a place one would love to visit again and again to relax and enjoy nature.

Had the most amazing experience at Rajae! The location is serene and one with nice walks through the village, great for birdwatching. In general the biodiversity is rich! We almost had a mini safari driving down to the homestay! And the stay in itself is one I'm definitely coming back to - going to skip the basics of clean, comfortable rooms etc. - the people made it whole. The staff took such good care of us! It truly is a 'home'stay. Don't miss the the beautiful wall art too! Highly recommend
