We recently hosted my sister’s wedding at The Banyan Retreat, Nainital, and the experience was truly wonderful. The property, views, and overall hospitality made the celebration even more special for our entire family and guests. I recently stayed at this hotel and resort for two days while attending a wedding celebration at the property. While the venue and overall arrangements for the event were good, the stay experience was unfortunately disappointing. Many rooms across the premises had a strong septic tank smell, which made the stay very unpleasant. The odor was quite overpowering, and I often avoided going back to the room just to escape the smell. This significantly affected the comfort and overall experience during our stay. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue, as the property otherwise has good potential and hosts wonderful events.

The service was great, and very nice. Whatever I ordered or asked for, was delivered in minutes. They were all very polite. The place has a good scenic view, highly recommend coming here. Alia, Bhavna, Nitesh, Sazim, Khushi were the reception team, who worked very hard and helped us throughout. I came here to attend a wedding, but I highly recommend coming even for a vacation.
