Great experience overall! 🏨 The housekeeping staff were super attentive and friendly. Loved the evening room service - it was a nice touch. Food-wise, the local cuisines served for breakfast were delicious! 😋 One suggestion for improvement: while the Tiger safari was a bit of a letdown, adding some unique experiences like local cooking classes, wildlife conservation activities, or sustainable farming would really make the stay more memorable. Looking forward to trying these out if they add them! 👍

Everything about Taj Corbett is wonderful- from location, to food to the overall beauty of the place. But what stands out, as in all Taj hotels is the exceptional service- from the moment we walk in and escorted to reception to the heartfelt drop off to gates, it’s home away from home always. Pankaj handled out check in and check out experience and he set the warm mood of the entire stay. The special aniv celebration, the incredible views and the thoughtful room service kept us wishing for more. The design for the whole day engagement is terrific as well- soo much to do. I can’t recommend Taj Corbett enough and can’t wait to come back either.

From the moment I arrived, the hospitality blew me away—every staff member greeted me with genuine warmth, making me feel like royalty. The welcome was personalized, with seamless check-in and little touches like chilled towels and fresh welcome drinks that set the tone for luxury. The rooms? Absolutely massive and dripping in opulence. Think plush king-sized beds with the finest linens, marble bathrooms equipped with high-end amenities, and stunning views from floor-to-ceiling windows. It felt like stepping into a 5-star palace—spacious enough for a family or to just unwind in ultimate comfort after a long day. Food was a standout; the variety across restaurants was mind-blowing, from authentic Indian curries bursting with flavors to international gourmet dishes prepared with the freshest ingredients. Buffets were lavish, with live counters and desserts that were pure indulgence. Every meal was a highlight! Service was lightning-fast yet attentive—room service arrived in under 10 minutes, concierge handled all my requests effortlessly, and the staff anticipated needs before I even voiced them. Pools, spa, and grounds were impeccably maintained, perfect for relaxation. This debut Taj experience has set a new bar for me. Our stay at Taj Corbett Resort & Spa was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had. Taj as a brand is synonymous with hospitality, and their pricing reflects that promise. When one chooses to splurge, especially to celebrate a special occasion as we did for our anniversary, you expect to experience the famed “Taj hospitality.” Unfortunately, what we encountered was the complete opposite. The experience was so abysmal that it left us both saddened and angry, feeling cheated by a brand that prides itself on excellence. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. The high tea was extremely disappointing, and dinner was even worse. The waiter repeatedly forgot our orders and messed them up and never once apologized. We ordered a thali-style meal, and he forgot to bring several of the accompanying dishes that were supposed to be included. The worst part, however, was yet to come. The next morning, my husband fell sick, and we requested the hotel to help us procure basic medicine. 1. Shockingly, the hotel did not have even basic medicines available. They eventually brought us an ENO, for which we were thankful. We then requested a commonly available over-the-counter medicine from a nearby pharmacy. 2. When we followed up, we were gaslighted and told that either my husband or I had refused the medicine, something that absolutely did not happen. 3. We requested a late checkout of just one hour so that my husband could rest a little longer. Instead of accommodating us, they forced us to shift to another room of the same category. When I questioned why this was necessary, especially since another room belonging to our friends could have been allocated to incoming guests, we were given a vague and illogical excuse. 4. When we again enquired about the medicine, we were informed that the hotel would charge ₹500 plus taxes for it, claiming the pharmacy was 12 km away and that they would need to send a car with staff. This was later proven to be completely false. Our friends spoke to the security guard and personally got the medicine from a shop just 1 km away from the property. This level of misinformation, lack of empathy, and disregard for guest well-being is unacceptable, especially from a brand like Taj. Please choose wisely and avoid this property if you value your time, money, and peace of mind. If you are celebrating something special and do not want your day ruined, this is not the place to be.

Taj Corbett Resort & Spa This has been, without exaggeration, one of the worst hospitality experiences I have ever had — and certainly the most pathetic experience as a Taj member. Yes, the property is beautiful. Nature has done its job well. Unfortunately, the management and service standards have completely failed the Taj brand. Room & Maintenance – Completely Unacceptable Foul-smelling washbasin drains with insects coming out. Squeaky, noisy furniture. Pathetic, dim lighting. This is not a budget lodge. This is Taj. Or at least it claims to be. The Buffet “Game” – Cheap & Embarrassing The most shocking part was their deliberate refusal to offer buffet lunch or dinner, claiming “low guest count.” Reality check: Parking was full. Breakfast area was running at 80–85% capacity. Yet, buffet lunch and dinner were a clear NO. Even when I requested the TDH menu — denied. Even when I requested that at least one dinner buffet be offered during a 2-night stay — denied. Instead, they proudly offered a 20% discount. I’m already a Taj member — that discount is standard. The intent was clear: push guests into higher billing while cutting operational costs. For a brand like Taj, this is cheap and embarrassing. Extremely Disturbing Staff Behavior We informed the hotel we were visiting for a special occasion — big mistake. A staff member repeatedly approached my wife — three separate times — asking about the occasion. It made her uncomfortable and uneasy while moving around the property with our child. This is not hospitality. This is intrusive and borderline creepy. I am not naming the person because I don’t want someone sacked — but management should take this seriously. Monkey Menace - Which Security tries to take care... The property is overrun with aggressive monkeys. Not occasional wildlife — but disruptive, notorious ones. It was difficult to even sit for breakfast peacefully, forget walking around the property. The only saving grace was Rupinder Ji, who handled breakfast courteously. Without him, even that would have been a struggle. Management’s Response When concerns were raised, the manager initially tried to be oversmart rather than accountable. Later, an “on-the-house” snack platter was sent — as if that compensates for systemic failures. It doesn’t. Final Verdict I have stayed across multiple IHCL properties — Taj, Vivanta, IHCL SeleQtions — and never experienced such a fall in standards. This property is a serious blot on the Taj brand. Mr. Nivedan Kukreti, if this review reaches you — please audit what is happening under your watch. The Taj name deserves better than this. For fellow travelers: Think twice before booking. Beauty of the property cannot compensate for poor service, questionable policies, and uncomfortable experiences.
