I am writing this feedback with extreme disappointment regarding my recent experience at Saundaryam Parlour. I was a regular and trusting customer of Saundaryam, which is why I chose this salon for my hair smoothening treatment. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any salon. Being a working professional, I reached the salon around 7:15 PM after my office hours for the smoothening procedure. During the process, there was a power cut and the salon did not have proper power backup arrangements to continue the treatment smoothly. After the power returned, the process resumed, but the remaining blow-dry and straightening were handled very carelessly. During the straightening process, a staff member named Monica used an extremely overheated straightener. The heat was so intense that even my back was getting burned from the hot hair touching it. The treatment was completed late at night, but the real damage became visible the next day — my hair was severely burnt and damaged. Although the salon refunded the amount and I went through another treatments to fix it but nothing has helped repair my hair condition till now. The damage feels irreversible, and I am now left with no option except cutting my hair short. This has honestly been traumatic for me. Hair damage at this level impacts confidence, mental peace, and daily life. I trusted the salon with my hair, and this negligence has caused long-term damage. I sincerely hope no other customer has to go through such an experience. I am also considering taking this matter to the concerned authorities and consumer regulatory bodies because such negligence should not be ignored.
