This was probably one of the best places I’ve stayed in while doing a safari holiday. The whole experience was almost surreal. We wanted to stay at the Taj but couldn’t get rooms because of a wedding (what serious safari resort allows this?!)… and I thank God that we found this place instead. The photos on their website do not do the place justice. The family cottage was extremely convenient and spacious. The staff (every single one of them) were very courteous and professional. They took hospitality to a whole other standard. Regarding the food - it was near perfection. The variety, the service, the taste - unbeatable. We were apprehensive about the cuisine as it’s new to us but every meal was excellent. The safaris were very good - the guides are knowledgeable and made great efforts plus the tea breaks in the forest were lovely. The best part about Jim’s is the absolute peace and quiet - it gives you a good forest experience. If you’re the sort of tourist who enjoys loud noise and music and late night ruckus, please do us a favor and stay in the town so that those of us who love the sound of nothing but nature can truly enjoy JJR. WiFi connectivity is very good. Poolside wildlife films with drinks and snacks were excellent. Special mention about their brilliant logo and the tagline “seek the tiger, find the forest”. I love that they are about caring for the ecology and the forest. I was even fine to not go to dhikala zone thanks to the Jim’s jungle experience. Would love to go back… I hope the neighbouring areas don’t become overcrowded and spoil the area (it’s already starting to). I hope the country can preserve and respect the forest and enable more places like Jim’s.

Great experience of staying so close to the jungle. The two safaris were the highlight of the stay. The addition of a Naturalist Jeewanji was a great idea, he helped us understand the dynamics of the forest and even managed to get us a tiger sighting! Super place to stay and would highly recommend to anyone interested in exploring the Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve.

I think the best resort in Jim Corbett. Their focus on conservation is commendable. They cooked Vegan food for us including vegan dessert. Loved everything about them. Let friendly, we stayed with our 3 dogs.

I stayed for 2 nights with two family members for our first safari experience. We stayed in a family cottage and had three safaris during our stay. I was considering instead staying in the park lodges, but I am very pleased we opted to stay at Jim's. It was a very good balance of comfort, while having a great safari experience. The rooms were very comfortable and well styled. The meals were very tasty and the service was excellent. The location just outside the Dhela zone is perfect for a short commute to safaris. A special thanks to our driver Pan, who was not only a great driver but a great conversationalist and very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna.
