There are few places you visit in a lifetime that truly stay with you, and this is undoubtedly one of them. We recently stayed for two days with our 16-month-old, and the experience was spectacular. The food is simply out of this world—and as travelers from West Bengal, we take our cooking standards very seriously, so please take that praise to heart! Beyond the incredible flavors, the staff serves you with a level of love and care that exceeds all expectations. Having stayed at many places across India and abroad, we felt this resort was uniquely special. While the location right beside the Kosi River might seem a bit "off-beat" and away from the noise initially, those few days will likely be some of the best of your life. I noticed there haven't been many recent reviews for Camp River Wild, so I wanted to highlight this awesome place and the dedicated people running it. I truly hope to make the trip from Gurgaon an annual tradition; until then, I highly recommend this stay to anyone planning a getaway.

The Camp Riverwild Resort is right on the banks of River Kosi and just about 10 mins away from the Dhangari Gate of Dhikala Zone. The entire resort is beautifully and thoughtfully designed and maintained with just 6 elevated wooden cottages which are spaced out to ensure complete privacy for the guests. Each cottage has a Sleeping area, changing area and bathroom. Hot water, heater and air conditioner are available. There is a small sit out area or balcony outside each room where we can sit on the relaxing chairs to view, experience and feel the forest. There are plenty of birds in the resort during the evening and it feels therapeutic to listen to their sounds. Mr. Ansari provided all the required information at the time of booking which helped us plan our stay, travel and Safaris. The hospitality of Mr. Rajesh and team made our stay very comfortable. Mr. Rajesh took care of all our requirements and ensured that we had our food on time even during the early morning while leaving for the Safari or travelling to our next destination. The food is very tasty with plenty of items served on the table followed by amazing sweets for dessert. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed it!

We never once felt like we were eating outside food; it felt just like home, only better. The location of the resort is exceptional—peaceful, scenic, and perfectly nestled in nature, offering a refreshing break from city life. A special mention goes to the entire team for their professionalism and warm hospitality. Every staff member was courteous, well-mannered, and always ready to assist, ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. Thank you once again for your outstanding hospitality.
