I have followed amama for a couple years on insta and always found their jewellery to be exquisite. I finally had the chance to browse in an actual pop up store this time on a visit to India. I bought a pair of chandbaalis ( Basra) and a gorgeous clutch ( Basra cowrie shell) . I am beyond delighted with both - but especially the cowrie shell clutch. It is a statement piece and incredibly well crafted with the sort of attention to detail that one expects from brands far above Amama’s price point. So in my opinion this in particular is a very well priced bag ! The experience of shopping with amama was also fantastic . I didn’t spot the bag in the pop up on my visit - but on their website later. In an absolute uhurry I called their customer service number and was connected to the pop up store - Reshma there was stellar! She handled everything with Teutonic precision ( and I can say this with credibility since I live in Germany!) I am very, very satisfied with not just the quality and craftsmanship of my purchases , the price to value ratio and the service I got. Highly recommending Amama and proudly going to wear my exquisite made in India pieces!
