We recently hosted a wedding at Ahana Resort, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was managed beautifully and exceeded our expectations. The service was absolutely outstanding — every detail was handled with care, precision, and professionalism. The staff was extremely courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Their hospitality was genuinely amazing and made all our guests feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the celebrations. The food deserves a very special mention — it was delicious, beautifully presented, and appreciated by everyone. We received countless compliments from our guests about both the quality and the variety offered. A special thanks to Mr. Harish, the manager, who handled everything with exceptional professionalism and calmness. His coordination and dedication ensured that the entire event ran smoothly without any stress for our family. We would also like to appreciate the owners for maintaining the property so wonderfully. The effort they have put into growing everything in-house and creating such a beautiful eco-friendly environment truly reflects in the overall experience. The natural surroundings and sustainable approach add a unique charm to the resort. Hosting such an important occasion here was the best decision we made. We stayed at Aahana resort and had a wonderful experience. Our family, including kids and elders were taken care of very well. Their service and hospitality made our stay very comfortable. We stayed at the Pool Villa and the rooms are massive. The images online don’t do justice to how great the rooms are. The resort is not very big, but good activities available to have a good time. Food was very good. Want to extend our gratitude to Parveen Sagar who went out of his way to ensure all our requirements were well taken care of. Really appreciate him and the whole team at Aahana for making our stay memorable. Would definitely recommend a stay here to everyone.

It was extremely surprising for us to discover that nearly 30% of the usable area was reduced, with visible construction and labour activity during our wedding days. Prior to the event, we were clearly assured that no such construction or disturbance would be present. Despite this breach of assurance, we consciously chose not to raise objections during the event, solely to avoid any disruption to our wedding and special family moments. Unfortunately, the construction activity was deliberately concealed, and the decor team was also involved in masking this issue. This lack of transparency was highly unprofessional and deeply disappointing. Decor Team’s Poor Delivery (DB and Spaces) The decor team charged us a substantial amount but failed to deliver even half the quality or scope promised. The furniture provided was broken, paint work was incomplete, photo-ops were damaged, mirrors used in installations were broken, and overall presentation was far below the approved PPT and commitment. You were fully aware of these issues. When we requested you to formally acknowledge the same via email, you initially agreed, but post our departure, you unfortunately denied it. Industry Awards vs. Ground Reality Aahana and the decor team have received multiple awards for weddings, including Haldi, Sangeet, and Wedding categories. Frankly, our experience was nowhere close to those standards. We were not expecting anything extraordinary, only what was committed in the presentation and charged for, which clearly was not delivered. Extremely Poor Experience with the Decor Team Our experience with the decor team was extremely unpleasant. Their communication was poor, behaviour unprofessional, timelines were repeatedly missed, and client concerns were not respected. Full advances were taken well before the event, leaving us with no recourse while the execution suffered significantly. Based on our experience, neither the decor team nor such conduct deserves the recognition they claim to have received. Need for Internal Review We strongly believe Aahana needs to work seriously on internal coordination, transparency, vendor accountability, and client communication. Our experience highlighted gaps that should not occur at a resort of your stature.

I stayed here for Safari purposes. I enjoyed staying here. Food was not 5 stars but at least there were many options. I wish there were less heavy options for breakfast, I would have loved having Greek yoghurt, strawberries and more healthy options. Overall, it was a good experience. Rooms are comfortable and spacious and I enjoyed the bathroom amenities kits!

I stayed at Aahana Resort, Jim Corbett on 12–13 December as part of a corporate offsite with around 80 colleagues. While the property itself is green, well-located, and visually pleasing, the hospitality experience—especially at the restaurant—was extremely disappointing. Several guests returned slightly late from a scheduled jungle safari, after which the restaurant manager flatly refused to serve breakfast. What was more shocking was that even when we offered to pay for breakfast à la carte, the request was rudely denied, citing that the property was booked for a wedding. The tone and behavior of the restaurant manager were arrogant, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic hospitality etiquette. Guests who are staying at a premium resort should not be treated with such disrespect—especially during an official corporate engagement. This experience clearly highlights the difference between a professionally managed hospitality brand and a property run by rude and inflexible staff. Aahana may look good on the outside, but the guest experience falls far short of expectations. Very disappointing, and certainly not a resort I would recommend for corporate offsites or groups.
